Kim Cattrall

Cattrall was born 21 August 1956. She is an actress from the United Kingdom.
She is a British actress as well as a Canadian actor. Her most well-known role
is her part in the role of Samantha Jones on HBO's Sex and the City (1998-2004)
and for which she was awarded five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe
Award nominations, receiving the 2002 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress.
In the movies Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2010) she reprised
her part of Samantha Jones. Cattrall first appeared in Rosebud (1975) and later
began to appear in various roles on television. She gained acclaim in the late
1980s in films like Ticket to Heaven (1981), Police Academy (1984), Hold-Up
(1985), City Limits (1985), Big Trouble in Little China (1986), Mannequin
(1987), Masquerade (1988), Midnight Crossing (1988), and The Return of the
Musketeers (1989). Tribute (1980), Porky's (81), Turk 182(85) and Baby Geniuses
(999) were just a few of the occasions in which she appeared alongside Bob
Clark. Additional credits include The Bonfire of the Vanities (1990), Star Trek
VI The Undiscovered Country (91), Split Second (1992), Above Suspicion (95) and
15 Minutes (192001).
